HIGHLIGHTS OF ODZALA

• Day 1 – WEDNESDAY |OR| SUNDAY

  Arrive at Maya-Maya Airport (BZV) on your own arrangement. On arrival, you will be assisted by a representative through immigration, where you will then transfer to Radisson Blu M’Bamou Palace. You may choose to book a Brazzaville City Tour this afternoon.

• Day 1 – 2

  Overnight at Radisson Blu M’Bamou Palace Hotel, Brazzaville (1 Night).

• Day 2 – THURSDAY |OR| MONDAY

  Pick up from Radisson Blu M’Bamou Palace and transfer to Maya-Maya Airport for your flight to Odzala-Kokoua National Park. Charter flight from Maya Maya Airport (Brazzaville) to Mboko Airstrip (Odzala):

  Flight number: Let L-410

  Departs Brazzaville (Maya Maya Airport) at 13h00, Arrives Odzala (Mboko Airstrip) at 15h00 (Flight time: 2 hours).

  On arrival at Mboko Airstrip, transfer by road to Ngaga Camp (2-hour drive through Odzala-Kokoua National Park). Meet the gorilla research team or Odzala guide to learn about the upcoming gorilla treks. Enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight in a luxury en-suite forest room.

• Day 2 – 5

  Overnight at Ngaga Camp (3 Nights).

• Day 3 – FRIDAY |OR| TUESDAY

  Early morning wake-up at 05h00, breakfast at 05h30, and at 06h00, start your gorilla trek. Treks are intimate (groups of 4 guests) with a professional guide and tracker. Enjoy 1 hour observing the gorilla family. Return to camp for lunch, relax, and in the afternoon, take a forest walk or enjoy river sundowners. Overnight in a luxury en-suite forest room.

• Day 4 – SATURDAY |OR| WEDNESDAY

  Embark on your second gorilla trek at 06h00. After spending 1 hour with the gorillas, return to camp for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, take a nocturnal forest walk to discover jungle wildlife. Overnight in a luxury en-suite forest room.

• Day 5 – SUNDAY |OR| THURSDAY

  Optional third gorilla trek (extra cost: US$ 350 per person). After trekking, transfer by road through Mbomo village and Odzala-Kokoua National Park. Arrive at Mboko Camp for lunch, followed by a kayak safari or sundowner river boat cruise. Overnight at Mboko Camp in an en-suite river room.

• Day 5 – 6

  Overnight at Mboko Camp (1 Night).

• Day 6 – MONDAY |OR| FRIDAY

  Guided morning kayak on the Lekoli River and forest exploration to Lango Camp. Enjoy lunch overlooking Lango baï, followed by a forest walk or bird watching. Overnight at Lango Camp in an en-suite forest room.

• Day 6 – 8

  Overnight at Lango Camp (2 Nights).

• Day 7 – TUESDAY |OR| SATURDAY

  Morning walk to the bird hide for African grey parrot watching or a discovery baï walk, followed by lunch. Relax in the afternoon or take a dip in the Lango baï. Overnight at Lango Camp in an en-suite forest room.

• Day 8 – WEDNESDAY |OR| SUNDAY

  Enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to Mboko Camp. Have lunch and choose between a river cruise on the Lekoli River or a guided baï and river walk. Overnight at Mboko Camp in an en-suite river room.

  Overnight at Mboko Camp (1 Night).
