Itinerary

Day 1 – Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara
Pick up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 8:00 AM. Drive to Masai Mara, with a lunch break at Narok. Continue to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving late afternoon. Check in to your lodge, and in the evening, enjoy a game drive in search of the "BIG FIVE" and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2 – Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day exploring Masai Mara, where you will have the opportunity to spot the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with options for full-day drives with picnic lunch boxes or early morning and late afternoon drives. You can also visit a local Masai village (additional cost: US$20 per person).

Day 3 – Drive to Nairobi and Fly to Kigali, Rwanda
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi via Narok, with a stop at the vibrant Masai markets for souvenirs and lunch. Afterward, proceed to Nairobi and drop off at the airport for your flight to Kigali, Rwanda.

Day 4 – Drive to Bwindi National Park
Upon arrival in Kigali, your driver will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The 4-hour journey includes crossing the border, and you will need an East African Visa, which can be obtained from the first country you visit. Enjoy the scenic views of the Ugandan and Rwandan mountains, also known as the "Switzerland of Africa." Arrive in the late afternoon, take a walk through nearby villages, and have dinner at your lodge.

Day 5 – Mountain Gorilla Tracking and Return to Kigali
Get up early for the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi National Park. The trek takes between 2 to 6 hours, led by an experienced ranger who will share fascinating facts about the gorillas and their habitat. After spending one hour with the gorillas, return to the lodge for lunch, check out, and then transfer back to Kigali for your departure.
